the next piece in my home-sweet-home series.
i love love love this script font that i found and as i was putting the individual letters together to spell out home-sweet-home, i was using grids and lines to get everything straight. well, that is what made me think of the grids and lines on the paper that children use as they are learning penmanship. and then i thought, well, that would probably look pretty cute!
and i think i was right.
charcoal grey colored stitches spell out home sweet home on top of a stitched version of penmanship paper with its red and blue lines.
the finished piece is framed within a 5.25 inch diameter wooden embroidery hoop.
it is ready to be hung on a wall as is. or you can prop it on a shelf or a ledge -- that looks cool, too.
